Huge NFT collection starts on tangle using the super secure Meta Anchor™

Earlier this week on Monday, December 26, anti-counterfeiting and authentication solution provider Authentic Vision announced the launch of its new NFT collection in partnership with Crypto-Gin, on DLT-based solutions.

Crypto Gin is a traditional handcrafted product and it leverages traditional blockchain technology to store its production data in a secure and immutable manner. In the launch of its NFT collection, Authentic Vision will use its secure trademark meta anchor ™. The collection will feature a total of 100 Gin bottles and will be based on the IOTA ecosystem.

Leveraging the power of the IOTA blockchain, Crypto Gin will ultimately enable a secure bridge between the physical and digital worlds. Here, the 100 physical Crypto-Gin bottles will get a digital representation in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The Meta Anchor ™ technology from Authentic Vision will use the holographic fingerprint that can be used only once. Thus, it would make it absolutely copy-proof. This technology feature from Authentic Vision has already been quite successful in brand protection. Besides, the technology can anchor a product in both physical and digital worlds in a secure and unique way.

IOTA And Its Expanding NFT Ecosystem

The recent developments taking place within the IOTA ecosystem have made the IOTA blockchain network a potential destination to launch non-fungible tokens (NFTs). IOTA unveiled its staging network Shimmer earlier this year allowing developers to test new features in real-world conditions but before introducing them to the IOTA mainnet.

The IOTA Shimmer Network facilitates the transactions for NFTs while offering the same security guarantees and feeless properties as available in the IOTA Tangle. Anyone can create and mint their NFTs on the Shimmer blockchain network.

While minting new NFTs on the Shimmer Network, its native token $SMR serves as storage deposits. The great thing about the Shimmer Network is that it doesn’t charge any fees for minting or transfer of NFTs on the platform. Furthermore, the NFTs on the Shimmer Network can work as wallets themselves. Besides, they can also receive and hold other NFT tokens thereby allowing users to unlock exciting new use cases.
