Dogechain is a sidechain, not a layer 2. Dogechain bundles transactions and passes them back to a layer 1 network, just as a layer 2 network does, but there’s no security system on the layer 1 network that vets Dogechain transactions to make sure they haven’t been spoofed or tampered with.
