Defi Solutions is laying off 21% of its work force at its Amherst location, due to the loss of a contract, according to filing with the state Department of Labor.
The auto lending software solutions company has offices at 6400 Main St. in Amherst. The company is headquartered in Texas.
Defi Solutions will lay off 29 of its 137 workers, according to the filing. The layoffs started this month and are expected to end in July.
A company representative could not be reached to comment on Monday.
