Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies were in flat mode as investors remained worried over the ever escalating situation in Ukraine after the invasion by Russia.
BITCOIN, ETHER PRICES
Bitcoin’s price continued to remain below $40,000. It was trading at $38,828.99, up by 0.80 per cent.
Ethereum was also down by 1 per cent at $2,548.94.
OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES
Other cryptocurrencies, XRP was down 0.60 per cent, Solana fell 0.64 per cent, Avalanche was down 2.66 per cent, Cardano fell 0.86 per cent, Polkadot fell by 0.57 per cent.
Stellar fell by 0.19 per cent, Dogecoin was down by over 3 per cent, and Shiba Inu was down by over 2 per cent.
GLOBAL CRYPTO CAP
“The global crypto market cap and trading volume increased by nearly 2 per cent and 20 per cent over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin and Ethereum rose a little, trading at US$39,000 and US$2,500. According to the market cap, the top cryptocurrencies have also witnessed decent growth than the previous day,” Edul Patel, CEO and Co-founder, Mudrex said.
“BTC’s current support price is US$37,000. Still, the cryptocurrency is facing a resistance beyond US$40,000, which can limit additional upside over the short period. If buyers could hold above the support, there can be a long-term uptrend. Since BTC is trading sideways, this could create high volatility in the coming few days,” Patel said.
